I MISS HOUSE

I know the show had run it's course, but I still love catching re-runs.

I miss House too. But i miss the character more than the show. Toward the end of the series the writing was so dull and predictable. It's kind of ironic that the show got criticized early on for being too formulaic, but even if the basic episode formula was predictable, the stories and characters were still interesting.

When they started mixing things up to make the series more interesting, the writers were all over the place and the stories got bogged down by too much relationship drama.

None of the supporting characters were interesting on their own. So to have all these story arcs about Cuddy, Taub, 13, and who Chase was sleeping with this week made me lose interest in the show.

But i always loved House and always found him to be very interesting on his own.

Yeah, House the character is basically the whole show. Any episodes that were light on his character were pretty poor.

I'd love to see a spin off, even a one off special or whatever, where we see what he's doing now. Probably using an assumed name but doing something he's good at. Even a cliche like being a private detective would work I think.

I miss Dr. Gregory House and his show, too!
In my opinion, the chance to get entire full new seasons is nonexistent but a movie might be possible.
I would like to see a movie about House and Wilson on a roadtrip to New Orleans where they attend a concert by Hugh Laurie and his Copper Bottom Band. During this roadtrip they find out about a new treatment method, which successfully cures Wilson's cancer. Then they seek Stacy's legal help to officially bring House back to the living, without House having to go back to jail for a long time. After that they settle down at a nice location where Wilson continues Dana Miller's (She was House's POTW in the episode The Greater Good!) research and House teaches medical students (I love the lecture he gave in Three Stories!) while occasionally playing piano at a jazz and blues bar.

House to Wilson about Cuddy: She is not some floozy in a bar. She is the floozy I work for.i miss t
