Anybody else agree his American accent sounds better than his normal?

I, for one, almost always agree that the British accent sounds much more pleasing to the ears than the American one. It's a lot more elegant and classy. But does anyone agree that Hugh Laurie's American accent (like when he was House) just sounds better than his normal speaking voice? I haven't really seen this with many other British actors that can do American accents, except for Daniel Day-Lewis (whose voices he used for Bill the Butcher and Daniel Plainview sounded a lot more "manlier" and "cooler" than his normal voice).

Does anyone else feel this way?

I agree, im just re watching House and his American accent even makes medical terms sexy lol.

I like his natural British accent as well but its just his voice sounds more impposing.

Laurie's American accent has long been over-rated. Better ones are to be heard from Damian Lewis, Hugh Dancy ad Jamie Bamber (best one).

I don't understand how it's overrated? Do you not agree that it's great? Just because those three have better (in your opinion) doesn't take away from the fact that it's still great.

Ian McShane and Daniel Day-Lewis have the best, though.

Maybe his accent is not the most accurate but he he the one who sounds the sexiest with the American accent

I do. I think his American accent suits his voice better, I find him sexy especially with that accent.
