I think Brie Larson with be the IT girl for awhile now. She has pretty much taken over Jennifer Lawrence for the title now.

Seems to me that "Stardom" is pretty short lived nowadays unless that person is truly talented or is special in some way. So she will be on her way out around *looks at watch*

I don’t know, as long as Marvel keeps putting out movies Captain Marvel and Avengers Brie Larson name will still be out there. Now if the next stage of Marvel movies are as good as the first 22 movies were is yet to be seen.

I didnt even realize she was the "it" girl now...

I'll second that. Besides making a bunch of fanboys' heads explode, she ain't queen of but jack and shit. And jack left town.

Yeah, she's a temp at the Information Technology department in my local workplace. That's frankly all she's good for.

I feel like Brie was just not Gouda.

Is she the "It" girl right now. I'm not a fan of her as a person, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. She's definitely splits opinion and I hear that it's the same on set with fellow actors. But she's got some great stuff on her C.V. She was great in Room. Also very good in Short Term 12, and has had a major hit with Captain Marvel. Her directing debut Unicorn Store doesn't seem to have gone over well with most and I'm sure that's people wanting to take her a step down from her arrogant behavior during Captain Marvel press tour. I liked her in stuff like 21 Jump Street, Don Jon, Scott Pilgrim and Free Fire (I don't think she would have done that film if Room had come out beforehand).

I think she's on shaky ground but cause of Captain Marvel and Avengers success, she get away with this time.
