How did she age so fast?

In 21 Jump Street and Don Jon, she played teenage girls and looked it. Now, in Trainwreck and Room, she's playing mothers (albeit, in Trainwreck, she was a stepmother), and looks like she's in her 30's! What the hell happened in 2 years?!

She's growing up and landing awesome roles. No more pretending to be a teenager, hallelujah!

21 Jump Street was filmed at least 4 years ago, and I agree that she could pass as a teenager in that film despite being 21/22. As for Don Jon, I think she looked a little older in that. It could also be that she's playing adult roles now, therefore she's being styled in a more mature way. I definitely get what you're saying, however. It could be because she has a very expressive face in both interviews and films, and is likely the same in real life. That would explain the extra lines on her face in recent years. Add in the fact that she's lost quite a considerable amount of weight since she did Jump Street. Still, she's great.

^That's a good point. Anyway, I wasn't saying she should still be playing teenagers, I was just pointing out that she looks like she's in her 30's even though she's 26 and, yet, she looked like she was a teenager only a few years ago.

I don't think she looked that young before but she definitely looks like she is in her mid-30s now, not mid-20s.

YEAH. In The Trouble with Bliss and 21 Jump Street, she looked liked the girl next door. I thought of watching every movie of her. I really miss her youthfulness 😖

First of all, many congratulations for her winning the 2015 IMDB STARmeter Award, though I didn't expect her to win it. It's a great thing for a talented actress.

Next, If I had access to her profile pic, I would have replace it with a 21 Jump Street still of her smiling 😁. Why is her agent posting horrid adobe photos of her when she's so cute. 😍

Last, Wish her  and hope she has more flicks to come!

There's really not much of a difference physically between a 26 year old and a woman in her early 30s, anyway. Unless you let yourself go. And in Room (in the book at least), she was raped by her captor so...

It's an ordinary high school day. Except that it's not.

I know. She was a Six Chick in 13 Going on 30 and now she is a grown woman.

In addition to the fact that she has aged, which others have pointed out, she also has quite a good range of acting skills. I think of her as being like a female (and younger) Gary Oldman in a way. She can play a thirtysomething or much younger (though not high school anymore, I think). She can be gorgeous or plain. She's incredibly good at adapting to whatever role she takes. I've been consistently impressed by her.
