I haven't watched the series in a long time. It seemed weird to me for an adult to gain a lisp as they got older instead of the opposite way.
Nope. She does have a Canadian accent. I have a co-worker who is originally from Edmonton, Alberta and you can hear such inflections in her voice, like when she says "sowrry" and the like.
