Most likely not.
In Denmark surnames ending in "sen" are very normal. Knudsen is basically a contraction of "Knuds son" (The son of Canute). There are 30.000 Danes with the name of "Knudsen".

Of the top 20 most popular danish surnames you will find 19 ending in "sen".
