But I suspect this is an age question similar to, who is your favourite companion? The correct answer being Katy Manning as Jo Grant.

Absolutely 100% Julie Newmar. Nothing sensual about Kitt's performance and her costume didn't look good either.

This topic makes me wonder what Suzanne Pleshette would have been like as Catwoman. IMDb Trivia says that she was considered for the role before Julie Newmar. Suzanne Pleshette had a husky voice that could have competed with that of Eartha Kitt. And she had the sensuality that would have made for an ideal Catwoman.

Julie Newmar is hands down my favourite Catwoman. But I will say that Eartha Kitt was far more menacing.

I’d say they both excelled in their presentation of the character, and certainly in a widely varied manner.

I just prefer Julie Newmar because she was the first Catwoman that I saw. Also, she had the hots for Batman and it made for some interesting scenes on the show.
