89th Oscars

Good choice.

He has the potential, experience, sense of humor, and gravitas. Growing up watching him co-host Win Ben Stein's Money to his talk show, and occasionally experiencing his poignancy, he will do a great job.

Are you serious? Does no one remember the debacle that was David Letterman?!

He did a terrible job with the Emmys...and now they wanna give him the Oscars?!

This is one broadcast I will be skipping. I mean it, first time in 20 years I will not be watching.

The Oscars have been terrible anyway, at least since the past decade. I know this year's Oscars might not be too interesting considering the dryness and low-profile nature of this year's movies.

As far as Kimmel is concerned, he used to be extremely funny when he was younger......UNNNNtil they paid him $10-20 million to kiss ABC's ass.

Hence this offer.

Kimmel is one of the most uninteresting, unengaging, unfunny, uncharismatic people in front of a camera today. His only contribution to the Oscars will be to make it just that much longer, and forgettable.
