People sleep on Squirrel Girl. She's a very 3 dimensional character with lots of comedy. A little like Deadpool without the violence, sexual content, & language. Okay like a pg13 deadpool, i guess. I always thought she is ine of the most interesting marvel female characters.

shareI adore Anna Kendrick, and would love to see her in a superhero movie, but... not Squirrel Girl. There's just something about Anna that isn't 'hyper eager innocence and forthrightness' that I want to see out of a screen Doreen. My personal casting pick would be Alia Shawkat. Anna would make a great Spider Woman though! Or Kate Bishop/Hawkeye.

I disagree. She's shown interest in S.G. because it leads towards getting profile coverage as part of Marvel / Avengers which is what she needs if she wants to start getting bigger roles.

Where is her career going at this point? PP series will end at some point and she needs a leading role in a major production to secure more high profile films rather than getting these small scale projects.

This chick signs on to anything that offers a paycheck. I still can't believe they cast her in The Accountant....
