Just like Pitch Perfect 1, the script not too pushover or force the story, after that lead role only movie that had the same sense is the story thay she was a victim and choped het head by a psycho.
She got charisma and talent but script that she choose to play just like "into the wood", "Mr.Right" are just below average as cinematography, both story could shorten their lenght (at least) 20? while audience not miss anything.

She needs to avoid:
1) Anything teen related. She's 31 now. Stop pandering to the teenybopper crowd. It's time to grow up and be an adult actress.
2) Stupid low-brow comedies. She needs to give comedies a break in general. So many of them are really bad these days. Stop trying to be a comedic actress and focus more on dramatic films. It's not a coincidence that her best work comes from dramas.
3) Joe Swanberg movies. His films suck. Nobody likes that mumblecore s**t.
4) Anything where she's playing the generic love interest of a character. Find a strong, independent female role.
First three are easy. Last one might take a little work.
i think her problem is she just takes whatever crap is offered to her , if she wants a good role she needs to go out and audition and put in some work .maybe fire her agent maybe take a risky role ,put i do agree she needs to STAY AWAY FROM COMEDIES, FAR AWAY, she just comes across as forced and unlikable . i don't know if it's her face or voice but when i see her trying to play the sexy girl i can't help but laugh and be annoyed and it ruins the movie for me . she is more of the nerdy girl in your high school class who gets good grades and who has a guy she secretly likes but he only sees her as a friend.
