Why does everyone hate her?

There is nothing people hate more than someone who is young, attractive and successful. I don't like to pull the whole "you're just jealous!" card, but there really is no other excuse for all the hate she has on this board.

The girl is talented, funny and sweet. She has so much potential and I can't wait to see how her career plays out.

Twilight's people...every kristen stewart's fans doesn't like her, Anna is the first person from twilight that got an Oscar nomination..i'm not anti Kristen Stewart but this is what i notice since Anna got her first nomination..

It wasnt Anna that I disliked in Twilight, it was Jess haha. The character is simply so annoying that I get a headache just watching her, but I loved Anna in Pitch Perfect! And if that is really her singing then she is both a brilliant singer and a brilliant actress, double threat. I havent seen any of her other films but I plan to, from what people have told me shes pretty good in those too.

I like both Kristen and Anna, so I don't know where that whole Kristen-fans-hate-Anna thing came from.

I think it's because she's successful and they're not.

I agree totally! I think I've see everything she's been in, except for the live Broadway stuff. And it's (the answer) is in just about every person's posting. I actually read one reply that stated: "Yeah, she really annoyed me in Twilight and I loved her in Up in the Air..."

I wanted to write this poor soul and say, "Hey you...what makes up a good actor for you?" Anytime that one person can make you dislike (their character) and within months one is loving her for a different character-- that to me is a truly gifted actor. Which (surprise!) is what I feel Anna K. is...I think and believe with all my heart that if presented with the right role she'll win the Oscar no doubt.
