I LOVE this guy

Have been a big fan since seeing ANOTHER DAY IN PARADISE and most things he's been in. Great actor.

I find it really interesting that he apparently lives cheaply, without a car, in a small bungalow and that he gives away lots of things... I'm exactly the same way... I've never owned a cellphone, for example... you don't see many people like that, it's interesting and I'm curious why Mr. Kartheiser feels compelled to live this lifestyle. I would get into why I live a similiar lifestyle (without, you know, being on the best show on television every week!) but no one wants to read that.

He is delightful in interviews and on the very funny clips that float around the internet, like the MadMen bowling. The best MM commentaries are the ones done by him and Jon Hamm.

Yeah, he's great.

As to why he lives that way, I think he said the he was grossed out by all the luxury freebies actors/celebs get thrown at them and just had to go in the other direction drastically. Honestly, I would probably take the freebies I wanted, but I still find that likable about him.
