Well I couldn't disagree more. All he does is shake his head around like he has a nervous twitch. worst person on madmen by a long shot. get over your crush and look at the acting. muppets

that's his character, nut job. you know, the role he plays - which, in fact, he plays very well. you might not like this character, but kartheiser does a superb job playing him. yes indeed!

It's awful acting. Its the small details. The wobble of the head and twitchyness is not part of the act and if it is, its pretty lame. Yeah he's playing a nuppety but people just dont have those mannerisms, well, unless they have Parkinsons, and I somehow doubt Pete Campbell has Parkinsons.

he is one of the worst, and most smarmy, actors i have ever seen.

and as for his looks, he looks he is 10 and 40 at the same, he looks like the omen kid or village of the damned kid.

I'm on "best actor" side of this argument. Yes, he has all those annoying traits and you want to wring his neck, but somehow we can't stop rooting for the guy. It's a very complex performance...one that seems unappreciated.

I'm not sure he's the best -- it's a very talented cast -- but he's very good.

I love him. Just, love him.
