I loved this actor in "The Mist". Since I also watched the commentary, the director informed us that Toby's father was none other than Freddie Jones... who played Ynyr the old Obi Wan Kenobi-type character in the movie Krull!
As a kid I loved Krull, so it was good to find this out.

Yes i just read that to, i loved his dad, he was great in old 70s and 80s british films, he did a great turn as the Bishop Colenso in zulu dawn was great, he was also wonderful in the elephant man. Toby has the same stand out looks his dad had imo, to me hes not ugly at all like so many sad sods on here keep saying, he just has a different look that stands out more
