Good for Johnson having a role on The Knick.

I liked him in smallville and when an actor from the cw makes it into a cable network thats a great improvement and he is making a great job. Most of the cast are all new comers except for Clive.

I agree, though I was feeling negative about the Flash Gordon series all together, mainly due to the fact that I regard the Buster Crabbe featured series the highest.
His character in The Knick is pretty interesting to flesh out, am curious how he will make it work in Season 2 :D

Wasn't familiar with him until The Knick. He's great. Hope he goes far.

The Knick was also the first thing I'd seen (until I found out he was young Brad Pitt in Legends of the Fall!) Does anyone know if The Knick was 2 seasons only, it did seem like a show finale but it was one of our favorites.
