She's friends with my boss and I've interacted with her a number of times through work-related events and tickets that we'd get to things (charity galas, political fundraisers, etc.) She thinks she's a lot smarter than she is and doesn't seem to tolerate "competition" (read: other women taking the attention off of her for even a minute) very much. She honestly has a very nasty and snide attitude towards people she thinks of as "below" her or "not important." She also talks a lot and won't even stfu for a second to acknowledge waiters and say "thank you" like a normal person.

there's been a few users here who've waited on her/been in the same room as her/had contact and she was a total ass trying to be ~one of the guys.

she's an arrogant twit.

people were really surprised over how she acted during the oxfam/sodastream thing but it's honestly not unexpected at all coming from her. oxfam was actually incredibly gracious in making it seem like she chose to leave...she's so fake and unpleasant.

she is good looking WITH make-up and all that styling. but take that all away and you wouldn't notice her in public and her snooty attitude would turn you all off. she wouldn't give you the time of day because she thinks she's above the normal people.

You -kinda- have to be, right... When the women in Hollywood go through - what they go through, to get to the screen - gotta make yourself seem the opposite, so people wouldn't think how she had to go endure it, too (just ask Woody Allen :))

That would be a shame if it's true. I hope that the writers of the blog replies have the minority opinion and just caught her on bad days.

From my own experience, most celebrities are actually quite nice people and HAVE to be because they're easily replaced. Talented people are everywhere. No-one has time to work with a jerk.

IT all might be true...but certainly you aren't expecting anyone to take these kinds of posts as true, are you? These are posts...exactly like posts here on IMDB. Are we to take someone seriously who claims they "know" this or that person and "know" they do thus and so? Come on! That's ludicrous. I have no more reason to believe those than if someone else said she was the nicest person in the world and gave some made up (AFAIK) anecdote as support. We simply cannot judge. AND EVEN IF someone somewhere interacted with her once and had a bad encounter or witnessed some disheveled mannerisms what's that really mean? That she had a bad day? That someone was harassing her...as I'm sure insolent paparazzi glory-seeking stalkers do celebrities all the time...and she reacted as anyone might, with irritability?

So are people supposed to not admire her beauty/acting because of her allegedly terrible real persona that they see nothing of? i don't know, do people admire stalin's leadership and loathe him at the same time?

well there's many users on ontd who have similar accounts. and the person who works for the boss scarjo's friends with has been exposed to her vileness many times.

From my own experience, most celebrities are actually quite nice people and HAVE to be because they're easily replaced. Talented people are everywhere. No-one has time to work with a jerk. she's nice to people she needs who help her with her career like agents, directors, fellow actors, producers, studio execs but isn't so nice to common people like wait staff, assistants, customer service reps etc. who she deems beneath her. you have to remember that she and some other actors have publicists that carefully maintain and cultivate a public image.

there are genuinely nice actors like jennifer lawrence, kate winslet, and hugh jackman that are also nice to the common people

I have heard the same thing from friends who worked at a resturant in Vermont where she attended a wedding. Was a while back when she was dating Josh Hartnet. He was with her there and was nice.

thanks for vouching that she's an azzhole. i despise people like her who are rude and snooty to people they deem beneath them. there's a reason she doesn't do meet and greets in fan events like comic con or i could be wrong.
