Sexiest Role?

The Earl of Oxford in Anonymous is my favorite. I don't know, maybe it's the smoky shadow and guyliner. But there are several of his films I haven't seen. Any suggestions?

He was really good looking in the movie 'Serena.' Very dark and mysterious.

He's very appealing in Vanity Fair. He plays a sweet and earnest good guy suffering from unrequited love. When he finally accepts that he has no chance with his beloved, he accepts a post to India (he's in the military), and finds solace and a deep sense of self there. He looks amazing in this last (very brief)section of the film. Mind you, it's a supporting role, but he's a standout in it. James Purefoy plays the lead, and he's a pleasure to behold in this as well.

The second (and darkest) son in "A Number" (2008 TV movie). Given more time, this role may have become as evil as his part in "Hannibal Rising". Compare those two roles to the goofy roommate in "Notting Hill" and the field-goal kicker in "The Replacements", then with the sweet guy in "Danny Deckchair", and you only have a glimpse of this man's range. I don't know that he's ever been given credit for his versatility. Nor can I imagine a part he couldn't play. Bravo, Rhys. BRAVISSIMO.

Don't know about that, but I can never erase Spike from Notting hill from my memory and then having done Earl of Oxford in Anonymous makes me wonder how versatile these people, the actors, really are?
