Just saw the trailer and uh.....well he looks to be playing Opie. The shot was a bit far away but he was wearing his club outfit. Might not have been a SOA sleeve but certainly close.
If he isn't playing Opie in this movie why would he agree to take a roll where LITERALLY he is playing Opie lol
Actually no, not literally (obviously). He's playing the role of someone who looks the same or similar as Opie. Think of all the actors and actresses who seem to play the same character in all of their films. Pretty typical stuff. And its a role he was offered and it doesn't seem like he's been super busy otherwise, which is a shame but might shed some light on why he would play two characters that look so similar so close together in his career.
shareCBGB is a biopic, about real people. Why would they put Opie in a movie about real people? He's playing a biker who hung out at the CBGB in the 70's.
