Opie's daughter?

I had no idea she was Opie from "The Andy Griffith show"(Ron Howard's) daughter. You learn something new everyday. I loved her in "the help". She played that hateful character really well.

You remember Ron Howard for The Andy Griffith Show rather than Happy Days or, you know, his huge career as an Oscar-winning director? That's kinda weird.

reply

Everything he's done (don't forget American Graffiti!) I still have thought of him as Opie.

reply

That’s little Opie Cunningham!

I remember him from the cinematic masterpiece The Village of the Giants. Ron Howard did other things besides that?

reply

I knew I knew him from somewhere!

Why is that "weird"? The Andy Griffith show was where he made his debut, and likely wouldn't had landed Happy Days without it. Without Happy Days, he likely wouldn't have been taken seriously in the business. Plus, The Andy Griffith Show is still airing reruns several times a day, but Happy Days isn't. So, considering that The Andy Griffith show is still in, has been around longer, and launched Ron Howard's career, I think it weird that you think the OP's comment was weird.

I think it's cool that she is Ron Howard's daughter. Only the more reason I like her.

Opie's "little girl"! yes, he and his wife sure had a beautiful daughter.

reply

You ever heard how she got her middle name? According to Ron Howard that's where she was conceived.

reply

I heard he was originally going to go with Bathroomstall, but it was a bit cumbersome.

She literally looks like Ron Howard with long hair!

Image attempting to make love to this woman - you would see her face and immediately you'd hear "well geez Fonzie I don't know..." in your head. No thanks.

This is why nepotism is such a horrible thing.

And here I thought you meant Opie from Sons of Anarchy, I’m like o.O
