Harry Houdini was actually a nice looking guy. You'd think they would have picked a nicer photo for his profile .... not a pic of him at work!
Harry is all about the spectacle, I'm sure he'd rather have people do a double take than just see a handsome bounder from yesteryear gathering dust π

I'm all for that! I read up on him years ago. I have seen a few documentarys about him. I have also seen a few movies about him. My favorite, surprisingly, is a TV movie of the mid 70s. It starred Paul Micheal Glaser and Sally Struthers. It focused on his marriage, his relationship with his mother, played by Ruth Gordon, and his mission to expose fake mediums.
I believe the movie was called The Great Houdini.
We should definitely meet here on Halloween.
I think getting a theme for Halloween is a fine idea Margo, it's mid-week this year and so I'll not be out partying it wherever I am. π
