Jesus, dude, calm yourself! I know you're a big fan of Robyn's (saw one of your other posts), and I know this post is a few months old, but I felt a need to respond to this, in case you are still flying off the handle on innocent people like you did here. This person was just saying (perhaps incorrectly) that Miss Hilton wanted to have (somewhat) more serious acting roles, but that the only ones she could land were in the adult industry. This person did not assert that there was anything wrong with the adult industry, or with women who are desirous of being involved in the adult industry. That said, I do agree with you on the whole about women being able to make their own decisions. It seems that (even in the new millenium) most women think that, for ANY woman to make a skin flick, or have sex with a man (or another woman ) on camera, she must have been coerced, blackmailed, or had a gun held to her head to do so ; this is obviously untrue, as most (or so it seems) of the female adult film stars I have seen seem to (at least somewhat) enjoy their work. This woman probably did as well. I do agree (from what little I have seen) that Miss Hilton did not have much going for her in the acting ability department, but hey, they can't all be Jenna Jameson or Tera Patrick, now, can they? On a final note, your attack of the OP's religion/beliefs (as you see them, and you were obviously quite wrong...defensive much?) comes across as shameful and motivated by fear. I don't know what you have against Christianity in general, or the Bible in particular (and yes, as the title of a published work, it should be capitalized), but keep it to yourself, especially in a public forum. Nobody needs to see subtext from you about how your priest abused you. If you have problems, take it to the priest himself, or to a psychiatrist, and lay off of abusing what other people may or may not believe in. And yes, I would say the same to anyone bitching at you about your belief that a grown woman is fully capable of making the decision to take her clothes off on camera, if she so desires.
