Died 35 years ago - can't believe it

This handsome actor died 35 years ago yesterday (Oct 18). I remember watching one of the entertainment shows (I believe it was Entertainment Tonight) when they announced his death - his family took him off life support, as he wasn't waking from his coma. Such sad news - he was such a talented actor who had a future before him.

I remember them saying on the news at the time that they had donated his heart to another patient.
