Why a body double?

For her walk of atonement it made no sense for her to have a body double. Lena is an attractive woman for her age and should not need a body double. For five years Game of Thrones has been known for showing women naked and this should've been known by an actress who's been a part of the show since the very first episode.

For Lena to use a body double seems cheap and cheating. The only thing I can think of is Lena is uncomfortable with her body but like I said, it makes no sense because now unless people actually do research, they'll never know that wasn't Lena's body so what's the difference anyway? She should've just sucked it up and done the scene properly which would've given us an even better performance.

I'm pretty sure she was pregnant when they filmed this scene.

Some of it is probably her, maybe from behind.

Her character isn't pregnant so that's why they had to use a double.

That would mean they filmed that episode 2-3 years prior to when it aired. She divorced her husband in 2013 and that episode was from 2015.

Was it really a double? I'm surprised because I remember hearing that she was actually struggling for money. Her going full frontal would have earned her so much more money.

Cheap? You're an idiot, that sequence was amazing, that scene was filmed in a few days, with hundreds of extras, no actress wants to show her nude body that way. She was amazing and it was justified.

You are the classic case of someone talking out of their behind, "cheap" and "for her age" really? fyi, she was pregnant but then again none of this was any of your or our business to begin with.

A couple of reasons:

1) Back tattoos would be a nightmare to cover up
2) Lena spoke with the showrunners and said she was worried it would hurt her performance if she did the entire walk completely nude. She brought the concerns early like any professional actress would and they came up with a solution that kept the actress comfortable and allowed her to give an incredible performance
