Wasn't Cersei justify, sorta, in killing the High Sparrow?

The way I see it, Cersei was trying to protect herself and the Throne by bombing and killing a manipulative man and everything in it that was gaining momentum and control of the King, military and the people. Was it really a bad thing or shocker to put a stop to it in extreme way? Again, she was stopping a fanatic from destroying, influencing the throne and eventually dethroning the king and taking full control? The look of dismay and concern on Jamie's face as she was crowned Queen surprises me since he would have been next in line to follow Cercei fate of a trial and eventually killed had she not put a stop to it. Thoughts?

Why is this a question? Of course she was fckin justified. For every reason you stated. Sucks that Margaery died, but I choose Cercei over her any day. I'm glad she killed all of her enemies. Cant wait to see her ruthlessness next season.

She was justified in killing the High Sparrow, but not justified in killing innocent people. Of course Jaime is horrified--he killed the Mad King to stop him from burning down the city and he comes home to see that his sister has done just that. He clearly thinks she's crazy, and she is.

She was justified in killing the High Sparrow, yes (even with the fact she is the one directly responsible for his rise to power), but not the other hundreds to thousands of innocent people killed in the blast including Team Tyrell. Lol. This is like saying 9/11 would have been justified if Stalin or Hitler had been in the twin towers that day. Taking them out is fair game, wiping out a bunch of innocents in the process is most definitely not

Well, setting aside that she is a vindictive, ruthless person, the high sparrow was judging and basically sentence her to death and taking control and influencing the king, her son, the woman knew she was not only killing her enemies, but innocents as well. Collateral damage. She was just like US is with drone strikes. Killing a couple terrorist at the risk of hundreds of innocent people.
