In case you missed it, a bunch of white people just ganged up on a black guy and got him fired. But it's okay, they're not racists, because they're the good guys and they have good reasons. What they're doing isn't whitesplaining, they don't need to check their privilege and stay in their lane, because their target offended somebody they want to protect.

I can't figure out whether identity politics makes people stupid, or stupid people are just drawn to identity politics. Probably a bit of both.

I think we are more likely to forgive than the gay community. Once you make a gay joke, your career is all but over.

I have also noticed that most of the indignant outrage when a public figure makes a racial joke comes from White Liberals rather than the group the joke was aimed at. The actual people who are being joked about are more likely to just shrug it off or make light of it.

Not all of us certainly but a lot of us older black Americans have seen wondrous changes for the better and reserve our outrage for things that deserve and demand it. Back when I was young in the 1970s, I had trouble getting a decent apartment when I was making good money because of my color. I'd call the landlord, they'd sound thrilled to meet me, but then hand me an "application" when I showed up in person. Of course, I'd rarely get even the courtesy of a callback.

But absolutely, white liberals drive me nuts. They tell us what should be offensive to us, insist that we are victims, and to vote for liberals because their so called entitlement programs are beneficial to us. They don't understand or don't care how enabling bad behavior or providing easy dependence on the government is hurtful.

The PC hierarchy is fascinating isn't it? Females are pretty high up until you mention Islam than women's rights & Gay rights take a back seat.

I guess it all comes down to which group is more likely to kill you if you oppose them?

The "progressive stack" is based on which policies best serve the elite, so in any given case, the coalitions of women, homosexuals, Jews, blacks, etc... may come into conflict. For example, there's no such thing as women's sports if a man can choose to be a woman. This is bad for women. But women will be tossed aside for the greater good of tearing down institutions of civilized society. Transgender isn't healthy, and isn't cheap. That's good for all the right people. We also love Islam, but we have to destroy every Islamic country to protect Israel. There's a pattern here.

There is too much throwing an entire group under the bus when there is conflict between people. It's so juvenile to call out a certain race for something a select group or even just an individual does.
