Kevin stepped down because he once tweeted something about something.

I'm sure that Billy once also said or wrote or did or implied something that might be offensive or didn't say or didn't write or didn't do or didn't imply something in response to something that might be offensive.
In any event, this clearly makes him damaged goods and unworthy of hosting the Oscars.
