They have been compared a lot and i can see the similarities in there manerisms and performances.

However i dont think Hardy will end up being very overweight eccentric actor, who doesnt care anymore and who hurts his legacy by being in really bad films like Island Of Dr Moreau and using women like Brando did, he seems happy with his wife,unlike Brando who would sleep with any woman that came his way, Hardy seems a decent guy really, while not important to acting talent, i would rather like actors who are nice guys.

I think Hardy, will be as good as Brando, if he isnt already

He is the closest thing to Brando since De Niro has given up

He's very good, but not close to Brando's league yet. He may get there depending on his film choices. Films like Mad Max aren't going to get him to that level.
