No actor has a better resume over a such a short space

With hit films, Starting with inception this guy has been in *beep* of good/great films recenty , ttsp, warrior, dark knight, the ravenant, mad max, then a few other aswell lawless, child 44 which were pretty decent, not many actors can say they've produced that quality in such a short space of time

Not to be a downer but: Jennifer Lawrence. Not everyone is Jennifer Lawrence nor will anyone amount to the success she's had in her age range in a very very long time. She's the first of her kind in terms of being extremely young and on paper having the career of someone ten times her age and someone who is considered a film legend. Winter's Bone, X-Men: First Class, The Hunger Games, Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle, Catching Fire, X-Men: Days of Future Past, Mockingjay Part 1 & 2, and Joy (debatable), all in the past 6 years alone with An Oscar win, 4 total Oscar nominations and 3 Golden Globe wins so far at merely 25. But, as far as male actors go instead of overall actors, yup it's pretty incredible. He deserves it. He is an incredible talent.

Winters Bone and Silver linings playbook I agree. Anyone could have played Katniss and she was woefully miscast in both Joy and American Hustle. Plus X men counting as great pieces of work? Please lol

All the pictures you just mentioned, excluding Joy, are incredibly critically acclaimed. Who cares about your personal opinion on the casting choice, no one is debating talent. Talent is subjective, but numbers in terms of success are not. He stated that Tom is the only actor to have great films in such a small amount of time and I countered the arument by stating facts. I don't care about your personal opinions on the pictures, no offense.

- And yes, X-Men: Days of Future Past is art, well made art. Stop being pretentious.

X-Men is comic book trash. Stop being so stupid.

You have to make the money to buy a ticket. - Nightcrawler

Critically acclaimed comic book trash with a stellar award winning cast. We're not talking about Divergent or Dirty Grandpa. That's like saying Mad Max: Fury Road and The Dark Knight: Rises are both "trash" because they aren't contemporary. You're an idiot.

reply

X-Men movies aren't hard to act, Hunger Game movies aren't that good, and Joy isn't really considered a good movie.

So you're saying that she's been in good films as opposed to giving good performances in them? Because even that is debatable. Winter's Bone and Silver Linings Playbook are the only notable ones of the bunch, quality-wise and also performance-wise. For the rest she's doing her usual scowl/blank faced expression and most of them are generic, unremarkable blockbuster pap.

Tom's filmography, and performance history, is WAAAAAAAY more impressive, and displays a hell of a lot more nuance and diversity.

All the pictures you just mentioned, excluding Joy, are incredibly critically acclaimed. Who cares about your personal opinion on the casting choice, no one is debating talent. Talent is subjective, but numbers in terms of success are not.

Two massive, glaring flaws here.

1. Basically, you can't think for yourself, because a film is only great in your eyes if the critics say so.

2. So now you're saying the films are good because they made a lot of money. I don't even know how to respond to that. I'm getting a lot of mixed messages from you.

Not expecting a particularly pleasant response (if any) from you after witnessing your rather smug reply to the other poster.

LOOKING FORWARD TO:
-Deadpool
-Hail Ceasar
-The Irishman
