Had a great line in the movie "Hangar-18"

I always liked James Hampton as an actor. I don't know what he was like in real life, but he seemed like a genuinely nice man and I liked his roles.

I saw him in the movie "Hangar-18" back in the early 80s and he had a line in the movie that got a laugh from the movie audience. His character (along with Gary Collins' character) was involved in a car chase (Hampton was the passenger) and, when it was over, Collins asked Hampton if he was all right. Hampton said..."I'm fine (Pause)...the seat covers are ruined." People started laughing and I didn't understand why, so I asked my older sister what that meant. She told me that his character peed his pants! 😃 I don't remember a whole lot about that movie, but I've never forgotten that line.
