... was criminally underrated, imo. Fantastic mood music, great acting by Banks and Crowe, and a great story. How does a normal guy go about getting a fake identity and money? This movie answers that question and a lot more.

It's a fine movie. Paul Haggis was on a roll and then a lot of strange things happened.

1. Left scientology in 2009 and his association with that crowd became very public around the release of The Next Three Days. I don't think this helped his reputation in Hollywood.

2. He was found liable on all three counts of rape and sexual abuse in 2022.
