Feel sorry for her

It must be hard to have a narcissistic mom like Meryl Streep. In interviews, Mamie strikes me as someone suffering from Stockholm Syndrome. She knows that she is hugely burdened by her shallow mom (who sees to see herself as some sort of great artist despite the fact that she does nothing more than read lines that other people write for her). Poor Mamie probably feels like she has to "prove" that she can follow in her mom's footsteps. She seemed terrified to reveal the fact that her younger sister (who is much prettier than she is and doesn't even look like her mom) is studying acting at Yale. She is probably terrified that she will be upstaged by her younger sister. I feel sorry for anyone in her situation.
