oh no he's got the 'hollywood smile'

Just finished watching the latest series of TIE (88). The scene where Lol visits him in jail was so emotional but his teeth were huge and so blinging white!! He seemed to be trying to hide them when he was talking. Mind he didn't when he grinned and they were brilliant white. It was really off putting as am sure he had rather small off white teeth (nothing wrong with that). It was quite off putting and I think its a shame he's conformed to the Hollywood standard. Nevermind, suppose it gets one of our great actors more jobs.

So because he goes to the dentist regularly, he has a "Hollywood" smile and that puts you off?

Since when is taking care of yourself a bad thing? They have different grills for all kinds of different sets and if a role called for him to have bad teeth they could give him a fake grill. So why should he have bad teeth all the time? For other people with bad teeth(like you maybe?) to feel better?

Wow lol, now I'm pretty sure I have heard it all.

I don't think the OP wants him to have bad teeth per say. But sparkling white 'Tom Cruise' like teeth, just look false and hollywoodesque.

LMAO, if by "going to the dentist regularly" you mean having your teeth replaced with porcelain crowns. My God, wise up! Everyone in Hollywood has crowned teeth! Your comment is like saying a actor/actress who has had noticeable plastic surgery is only taking care of their health by "visiting the doctor". LOL.

I love this actor and I was merely commenting on his new teeth. They don't look at "blingy" in the latest episodes of Boardwalk Empire.

no, because he's gotten fake teeth, it indicates he's sold out or felt pressured to conform in terms of aesthetics, and that puts me off... not of him as an actor, but of the ridiculous Hollywood fakery. you said it yourself - they have all kinds of different grills. if a role calls for him to have great big shiny white perfect teeth, they can give him a fake grill. why should he feel the need to fix something that isn't broken in anyone's eyes but Hollywood's? and by equating getting fake teeth with going to the dentist regularly, seems you've fallen victim to the scam yourself.

Artificial UV whitened teeth + fake teeth isn't taking care of yourself.
