I get that you liked it, and don't mean any harm by your comment, but can we please stop talking about other people's weight?

Why? They are "celebrities" and are hired based on many factors, physical attributes not the least of them.

reply

We can't even discuss it, LOL?! It's one thing if the guy went on her Twitter and told her she was fat or was just being really harsh here, but this is something we can't even TALK about? On a discussion board?!

reply

YOU CAN...THESE TYPE OF THREADS JUST SEEM TO SNOWBALL FORUMS INTO A JUVENILE SEWER.

reply

This website is not going to tank because someone called Lauren Grahm chubby.

reply

I DIDNT SAY IT WOULD...FEEL FREE TO CALL STRANGERS NAMES ALL YOU LIKE...SAYS ALOT ABOUT YOU AND VERY LITTLE ABOUT WHO YOURE PUTTING DOWN.๐Ÿ™‚

"THESE TYPE OF THREADS JUST SEEM TO SNOWBALL FORUMS INTO A JUVENILE SEWER."

Who's the juvenile one? I didn't put her down at all.

reply

People making threads calling actresses fat or ugly is pretty much the worst thing about these boards.

reply

You live a very sheltered life, my man.

reply

I said the worst thing about these boards not life in general, idiot.

reply

The worse thing you've seen on this site is someone getting called fat? I stand by my statement.

reply

Stop being an idiot, Iโ€™m talking about these "sheโ€™s so fat and ugly" threads that always turn into senseless bashing and misogyny. I guess you must have participated to a few of them.

reply

Misogyny? So any perceived insult against male actors is misandry?

I think these threads do degrade to name calling, but as long as it's woke, it's a masterstroke.

reply

Notice the people angry she was called chunky are the ones calling others names on this thread?

reply

Oh, so you're on this thread talking about other threads? *blank stare*

reply

You can go ahead and comment on whatever you want.

reply

He was complimenting her. sslssg is a nut

reply

I'm a nut? Why? Because I've seen so many posts about celebs (mostly women) being either too fat or too thin and I think there is more to someone's worth than numbers on a scale.

I also did say that I understood that it was a compliment. I also think that there were better ways that the compliment could have been made. Like for instance....

I thought Lauren looked great in Curb Your Enthusiasm's 9th season.

Seeing a body style for a woman in entertainment that hasn't been sculpted for max sex appeal can be refreshing.
I noticed Graham on Zoey's Ex Playlist, and no she wasn't foxy and I'm not sure how I feel about her performance, but I liked that she wasn't a physical stereotype.
Ironically, I'm all for recognizable people to be good role models regarding a healthy appearance. It's not good to give the green light to impressionable people that it's okay to get fat and slouch, etc., but the over emphasis on a comely look for every female performer gets absurd quick.
