Is she ill?

Love her in the show Parenthood, but lately it looks like her chin and neck are melting into one another. She doesn't look fat on her body, arms, legs, but it's just her neck keeps growing! I was just wondering if she has some sort of illness that's causing that? Or is she just aging poorly and her neck is the first thing that's going? Reason I ask is because this most recent episode her neck just kept distracting me from the scene when she was in it. She'd talk and then... the neck would take over.

Just genuinely curious, nothing against the actress.

I thought the same thing. She is on the talk right now so I just came here to see if something was wrong

Saw her on Ellen thought she gained 50 pounds but then she stood up and her body looked normal it was just her face

Guess no one knows. Either she has the unfortunate luck of gaining weight only in her face, or there's some illness going on with her.

It's so simple a six year old could figure it out.

It is possible that she's on prescription steroids for some illness or other. They are known to cause kind of a "moon face." This is merely speculation of course.

Prednisone is notorious for causing "moon face." It's an awful drug, and I hope she's not on it.

I think I'll have a large order of prognosis negative.

just started watching the GG revival and I noticed it right away. i think it may just be an age and weight thing.
