he did do "preditors," which was science fiction and is doing another sci-fi picture with scarlett johansen. also he has a new film with richard gere, "the double," which is a thriller. so he does seem to be trying different things.

You obviously have not seen Too Big To Fail yet then. He is really good in that one. Eric Forman no more. Plus you have to understand that is his personality so its always going to spill out in his character traits. He's a typecast of sorts.
