What about 'Downton Abbey'?

I was thinking about Matthew Goode and his noble lookalike bearing and style.
So why not consider him for a role in the hit tv drama "Downton Abbey"? He is handsome and tall. He would perfectly fit a Lord or become a possible match for one of the young women in the show.

Hmm... maybe for Mary? They would really have to develop it slowly and carefully though.

Bump this up!

Just hope in that case he'd still do The Good Wife too. I like his intriguing character on there. Hope he still gets lots of film work too.

Ooo yes please. As a viewer you'd have to understand why Mary would fall in love with someone else after Matthew Crawley. The current love interests they have for Mary are a bit boring and unattractive by comparison. Now if Mr Goode turned up you'd totally get why Mary would fall in love with him….

Too nice for snooty Mary, though I agree that her current set of suitors are a load of washouts. I'd like to see his character fall for Edith. Take that, Lady Mary! Poor Edith, she gets the worst guys (old, older, ancient).

Like it. Actually if Stoker is anything to go by - he could seduce the whole family! Watch out Maggie Smith - Matthew's coming for you!!!
