Interesting project for him I think. I don't know the book or the original film but looks like it could be a complex role.

Goode will play Redrick "Red" Shuhart, an "enigmatic, blue-collar contradiction" who can be quietly intelligent one moment and utterly ruthless the next. He achieved that in Stoker and Roots, etc. so it could be goode for him.

It would be great to hear from someone who knows more about it.

Yea interesting project indeed so excited, I have read the book but not seen the film



I used to go Karaoke every Sunday without fail for years, I go to ones now like every few months

But I used to sing classics like: The sun always shines on TV-A-ha, Addcited to love- Robert Palmer, Red Wine-UB4O, Pride in the name of love-U2 and many many more lol

Great repertoire! I'm in Surrey - next door. I am still singing Cure songs (my Mum force fed them to me) - Friday I'm in Love!

I was born in June of 81, So my first memory was when I was 3 in summer of 84 :-]

Smiths. Joy Division (not New Order!). Ooops - forgot the Psychedelic Furs. My mother had these on non stop at home and so I had no choice!

Really interesting project this - I looked at a bit of the Russian version as well - found via your link. Thanks! Grim and atmospheric but sadly I don't speak Russian.

Yep - Hertfordshire is totally in the NORTH!!! North of Surrey anyway!
