shareI think the worst part about it is when you’re actually old enough to remember when this dude was plastered all over the covers of Teen Beat and Tiger Beat :D He’s hardly recognizable now, but I think there’s a history of some heavy substance abuse that plays into that as well.

shareFunny, because in my last post I was going to make a comparison of both him and David Cassidy, in that they were both predecessors to that early androgynous look. But while I can actually remember some of the stuff that David Cassidy performed, I’m struggling to remember anything that Leif Garrett performed. I just want to dance, or something to that effect is the only thing that comes to mind.
Yeah, I suffered through it all with my female relatives; Andy Gibb, Shaun Cassidy, the posters plastered all over their bedroom walls. The 70’s was one long decade :D
Yeah...I remember my neighbor and friend’s suspiciously sticky poster of Kristy McNichol too.
And all the idiot girls who kept saying Shaun and David were brothers.

I thought that both David and Shaun shared the same father, Jack Cassidy? Just looked that dude up (Shaun) and he’s 60 friggin years old now! Wow, I guess the 70’s really was a long time ago, lol.
Never quite got the fascination with Kristy McNichol, and to me she somewhat resembled a boy. Turns out later that her sexual preferences were more in line with one too :D

Cassidy's the loser. This guy may be one too but he's alive to tell about his endeavors.
