No idea but I've heard he's been with someone for a few years now. Its possible whoever it is is not even a celebrity.

I just found an interview that was published about a year ago... September 2011.

I found a picture of myself fishing,” he laughs, “and it’s a terrible picture of me from a few years back. Me and my girlfriend were like night fishing, and I got this random picture taken of me......
So yeah at least at the time of that interview (not even a year ago) he is dating someone and for several years now. I once saw a video of him and there was a quick shot of a girl very brief and it was speuclated that was his girlfriend but its not been confirmed(I don't think or if it was least not the girls name). Clearly David is a private person and even more so if his girlfriend is an ordinary person, meaning not a celebrity or in the public eye.

I agree I had a huge crush on him when 7th Heaven was on especially in the seasons 5-7.
