Democrats believe people who make so little money that they don't even enough to adequately feed themselves and their family, the government should supplement this basic need.

Conservatives have twisted this simple and righteous concept into democrats wanting to 'enslave' people by forcing them to remain dependent on government for food, less they starve.

Now, conservatives who are elected officials and lawmakers know this is absolute hogwash, but the most gullible of their electorate will buy it and rage out like 2 year olds who were just told by their mother to share a box of cookies.

There's no program that says people who are receiving food assistance can not promoted to a higher paying position at their job, or apply for and attain a better paying job elsewhere.

This applies to every assistance program in the country.
