I have to get this off my chest

Ok, even though I am almost forty, I only just recently finished reading The Great Gatsby for the first time. The whole time I was reading, I was seeing Zach Galifianakis as Jay Gatsby.

There it is, I just had to share that because it's stuck with me for some reason. Too bad it's been remade so recently, so there is little chance that I'll ever get to see it anywhere other than in my imagination.

I haven't read "The Great Gatsby" since High School, so I'm not sure if Zach could play Gatsby.
But I was reading "The Time Machine Did It" and a few of its sequels by John Swartzwelder (one of "The Simpsons" writers). I pictured Zach, Seth Rogen or Jack Black playing Frank Burly, the main character who is this really stupid Homer Simpson-like detective that lives in this absurd world.
