Who could come close to playing Scarlett O'Hara in Gone With the Wind. She looks a LOT like Vivien Leigh. Anyone agree?
Now, before you start throwing tomatoes at me, please note that I am NOT suggesting that there should be a remake. But there are a lot of message boards asking for suggestions on the matter, and this is my opinion :) Anna's lucky, she is so ridiculously pretty!

shareUm, No. I actually hate Gone With the Wind so that's not my motivation in disagreeing with you. Friel doesn't look like Leigh at all to all, and she lacks the poise and sophistication to play O'Hara. O'Hara was a gentile Southern belle, and Friel just comes across as a sickly sweet country "bumpkin" (sorry but that's the truth). Neither do I think that Friel's "ridiculously pretty." She's cute in that doe-eyed way that makes people think she's pretty, but again, she lacks poise and grace.
shareI think Amy Adams reminded me of Scarlett O'Hara a lot in the movie Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day. Not so much her looks, but the way she talked a bit. Maybe she could die her hair black - LOL!
