Best finnish actors/actresses?

I agree, Peter Franzen and Irina Björklund are a must on that list! Then there's Nicke Lignell and Tiina Lymi. Hmmm...I wonder...Jenni Banerjee-Loutaja is a very good actress too, but at the moment I can't think of anyone else...

And you musn't forget Minna Haapkylä...She's one hell of an actress,too;)

I think Petteri Summanen and Mikko Leppilampi are also quite good actors too. Mainly their performance in Frozen Land (Paha maa) really shook me somehow. Otherwise they've been mostly doing "silly" parts (at least I think so).

Pamela Tola is good actress. Her best job was maybe in Soap (Saippuaprinssi), she was also in Frozen Land, but had somehow smaller role than those guys.

Peter Franzén.. it's funny that I mostly remember him playing dead in CSI: Miami and some bad troll (?) in Rölli ja metsänhenki. I think I'll try to dig up Asphalto from somewhere, from what I've heard it should be interesting film.

Immeinen - of course, how could I forget Nicke Lignell? He is great, and really nice in person too.
(No, I don't know him , but I was an extra in Colorado avenue last summer and he and Irina Björklund were the only ones of the "big" actors who actually bothered to be NICE to people...)

Then there's Peter Kanerva, and Jasper Pääkkönen - I thought he was pretty good in Matti, for example.

I can name at least a two dozen finnish actors who are a way better than Peter Franzen. For example, Martti Suosalo, Hannu-Pekka Björkman, Petteri Summanen, Tommi Korpela, Sulevi Peltola, Janne Reinikainen, Kai Lehtinen, Taisto Reimaluoto, Juha Muje, Kari Heiskanen, Oiva Lohtander, Vesa Vierikko, Esko Salminen... the list goes on forever.

It's no wonder why Franzen can't make it in the Hollywood: he's short, ugly and a god damn poor actor.
