A deal has been reached in James Franco’s sexual misconduct trial, in which the actor is accused of intimidating students at a film school he founded into exploitative sexual situations. Two former students accused him of pushing their peers into performing increasingly explicit sex scenes on camera, going beyond what is acceptable on Hollywood film sets.

Seems like someone has done a damn good job of hushing this up. Has anyone heard about this at all? This is beyond the scope of what some of the #MeToo defendants did to get prison time. I think he belongs in prison for a while and kicked out of the movie industry.

Theses settlement deals need to be outlawed. It's as if all these rich people can do whatever they want, and if it happens to hurt someone or break the law they just have to lose the equivalent of a few bucks and life doesn't change a bit for them.

This rat-faced scrawny weaselly looking actor has power and influence far beyond his due. Notice how this was kept from being reported on and kept out of the new - except for his lawyers claiming the plaintiffs were exaggerating and lying for attention. He's got this game going where he picks up girls ostensibly in classes where he is teaching acting. He did it for a while at Palo Alto High School ... my old Alma Mater. He needs to go away for at least a little while. These pay-off things are too much like prostitution.

you should go to court on a regular basis. Then you'll see the true rapist on a regular basis.

At least now he knows how to get away it easier and has incentives to improve his collection,
like epstein.

The lawsuit said the incidents occurred in a master class on sex scenes that Franco taught at Studio 4, which opened in 2014 and closed in 2017.

So they attend a class to learn how to act sex scenes, and they complain about having to act sex scenes.

I believe he's just trying to keep it quiet with a settlement deal. Generally that means guilty.
