his looks are his livelihood,
can you blame him?

It just stroke me as odd considering he seemed like he didn't care much about his looks the past years, often showing up scruffy looking.

It's pretty noticeable, especially if you compare it to his Freaks and Geeks (1999 - 2000) days (very left):

And the guy is often seen wearing a beanie. I wonder why...
