O'Brien Won't Be Returning To Downton Abbey

Oh, how I'll miss her. She was a driving monstrosity who made the show worth watching, but not just her final scene where she was chatting up the other lady because she had no loyalty to her lady's maid who sought to give her the spiked drink and MOsely got it instead, I knew there was an out for her.

She caused the miscarriage, so there was no way she would gain redemption. She was struggling to confess to Cora when she had influenza, but clearly this is her only out, to get a job somewhere else. She has no love lost for any of these people. Thomas was her only ally and they had their falling-out.

For the best, but she has been fun.
