Colin Farrell is a Fantastic Beast in that Harry Potter spinoff!

Really love his performance... When he was near to welling up when he tried to convince Credence to join with him and that speech he made before that twist at the end.

Ever before they were casting Sirius Black, I was like praying they'd either have Colin Farrell or JDepp. A kid can hope too much then.

But more than a decade after, finally, my two fave actors are in the Harry Potter universe!

So excited last week when they cast JDepp as Grindelwald. I was like Yey, finally Colin and Johnny in the same movie for the sequel only to be disappointed when Fantastic Beasts pulled an Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus. Yup, Johnny and Colin basically played the same character again.

So does this mean Graves might be dead and I'm not gonna see Colin anymore in the sequels?

Colin Farrell as Graves riveted me more than anyone in there. I wish to see more of him in the sequels!

Overall, movie didn't bring much the same charm to me though because I felt like w/o Hogwarts (Harry Potter's happy place), JK Rowling's wizardry universe felt a bit lacking. At least they can finally show us that American equivalent of Hogwarts than just mention it. That's just what I think.

If they're risking being spoiled by hanging around here without having checked out the movie, they don't have anyone to blame but themselves.

I agree. Colin killed it. Really liked him as Graves. He really brought the creepy. And subtle intensity. I hope we get to see more of his character down the line.



I saw the movie the first day. I was first in line, in fact. I was referring to notes you posted that were not covered by the black. I never click on the black. Anyway, it's all good.

Harry Potter series not just for kids and there nothing wrong with adult watching a family movie and that fantastic beast has some scene to intense for children.
