Very First Post

Wow, so this is the very first post for Charles Farrell ever. I just wanted to come here and say that I finally got around to watching one of his silent films. It was F.W. Murnau's City Girl from 1930. According to the trivia though, one of the ADs had to finish it because he didn't want to add any talking to it. It also says the copy that is part "talkie" is lost. I really liked Charles Farrell in this movie. I first saw him in The Big Shakedown with Bette Davis. That's what got me interested in seeing one of his silent ones. He was one of the rare actors to do both silent and talkies. He was quite handsome!
