Underrated actress.
She basically carries Bates Motel almost only by herself.
If the next True Detective season will have female lead(s) I'd love to see her in that.
Her, teamed up with, maybe Sarah Paulson, Tilda Swanson or Jodie Foster.
That would make me a happy camper.
Also Vera, is so attractive, I'd eat a mile of her *beep* just to see where it came from.

sharei am kind of glad she's not TOO popular otherwise this place would be spammed with a bunch of BS with the kids.
but yeah, she elevates Bates Motel and honestly, besides Boardwalk Empire, this is probably my 2nd favorite currently running TV show or pretty close to it.

I think there are a bunch of kids who continually bug her on twitter.
maybe on some level but she's only got 58k followers right now which is pretty small especially for famous people standards. but then again she's not all that big of a name to begin with as she's not unknown but on a mainstream level i would not be surprised if many people never heard of her as she's not a huge name or anything as i imagine if you went to a random decent sized city and came up to people and asked if they know who Vera Farmiga is i would bet a decent percentage of them would not know her or at least not affiliate the name with the face even though if you showed some of them her face they might remember seeing her in movies but probably won't be able to recall the name.
but i do agree with you in that you see a fair amount of her replies as the kid types as just taking a quick look over there i noticed a reply to her that fits the kid/harassing description pretty well... "hey, i love you so much, okay? please, answer me or favorite me". that's a clear attention grab there which i imagine is a great example of what you said about the kids harassing her. i don't see too many posts like that though taking a quick look at some recent pictures she posted as most are just showing her some love ;)

but anyways... Twitter pretty much the only source to see Vera (with pictures and occasionally a video) outside of the movies or other mainstream media articles etc as she don't appear to use Facebook. i don't really use Twitter much but i do have a account as Twitter is mostly good for keeping up on what some famous people are doing. but i rarely tweet myself as ill mostly just re-tweet something for future reference for myself so it's easy to find a post i like occasionally.

Yeah, someone of her caliber deserves to get a HBO type of show as those tend to be higher quality in general vs cable TV or especially major network TV shows which are a dime-a-dozen.

I have loved her for 10 years and counting.
i am curious... what movie was it that you personally first took notice of her, was it 'Down to the Bone' (2004)?
because from what i can tell it seems that was the movie that drawn more attention to her. then in 2006+ which is when her career really took off when she landed in The Departed (2006) etc.
for me... i first took notice of her in Running Scared (2006) which i first watched back around mid-2006 and then after that The Departed (2006) and so on. although i am pretty sure i first seen her in either 15 Minutes (2001) or The Manchurian Candidate (2004) as i know i have seen those before i have seen Running Scared (2006) but she had a fairly small part on those where as she had a more noticeable/commanding presence in Running Scared (2006), which is probably why she popped onto my radar, which still basically contains my all around favorite scenes of her's which is the pedophile scene as it's nice watching Vera all fired up ;)
but with all of that said... she was never my clear #1 in attractiveness til about 2009.
