Entirely deleted threads - but still visible on main page?

Ah, this again.. Anybody else wondering what the threads "I'm really sorry for her" and "There goes her dignity and chances in another Iranian movie" were about? Apparently the entire threads were deleted, although for some reason the subject lines are still shown on the list of topics shown on the main page (but not on the "view all topics" page.

My guess is these were something related to her country of origin.
